Fruit of the chime tree is an electroacoustic sound installation inspired by wind chimes. I have always liked the way they play a very random pattern. This huge chime is made of steel pipes that each have a clapper tied to pendulums of different lengths. When agitated, the clappers hit the pipes creating a sound while also triggering a synth to play a sound.
